On a bright and sunny Monday morning, during Academic Activity, Ms. Kilpatrick gave us the news that we were going to start Passion Project. Everyone was confused. “What’s Passion Project?” Ms. Kilpatrick explained to us that Passion Project is a project the we are going to do, about our passion. (Like dance, camera’s, etc.) She told us that our passion is some thing that we enjoy doing. She showed us some online videos of kids that have done Passion Project in the past years, so we would have an idea of what it would be like. Some people worked together with a partner, and some people worked alone.
Though we have started already, here are some ideas that other people are
doing …
Hopefully that gave you an idea of what passion project is like because
we all have different passions from a cocoon to daydreaming. Some people have
some props that they bring in during passion project time (Academic Activity
Period-Monday & Friday) like, IPod’s for dance, camera’s for photography, etc.
It’s a fun and enjoyable activity to do during Academic Activity, in school.
It helps us in the future by knowing how long/short-term projects are!
