Ranger1, Christeal at the Yellowstone National Park in parts of Wyoming, Idaho
and Montana. We learned that the Yellowstone National Park’s symbol, is an
arrowhead with a lake, a mountain, an animal (Buffalo), and trees. They all have a different meaning which I think brings a special quality to the park and give it a meaning. The meaning of these symbols are the following.
Buffalo ~ Protect all animals
Lake~ Protect all body’s of water
Mountian~ Protect all landforms
Trees~ Protect all plants
and most importantly
Arrowhead~ Protect human history
We learned a bunch of facts while skyping like, a buffalo can weigh as much
as a car and an American pika is only 5 ounces! It may have been boring
listening Christeal talk about all these pieces of information about Yellowstone. While I am writing this piece, now that I think about how much information we really learned, the things Christeal talked about were cool. I think skyping with a ranger at Yellowstone National Park was really great. One more fact that I think is the most interesting to conclude this is, the Yellowstone National Park is actually one giant SUPER VOLCANOE! I hope you like my blog and learned a couple of facts about Yellowstone National Park.
