Tonight you are going to practice the non-fiction reading skills that we have been learning about in class. Visit the Wonderopolis site (button is to the right) and choose a topic that interests you. Watch the video and read the article carefully. You will record information you have learned, your thinking and something you still wonder on a 3-2-1 (3 facts, 2 opinions and 1 wonder plus 1 vocabulary word). See recording sheet below. Start by watching a brief introduction video to polygons in part 1 of Math Made Easy.
Record the answers to the following questions in your Interactove Notebook.

2.) List 3 characteristics that make a shape a polygon.
After you have watched the video practice your knowledge of polygons by playing a game of Polygon Match.
