Genre: realistic fiction
Summary: Kate Walden's dream is to make it big in producing movies. She is filming her debut movie, Night of the Zombie Chickens starring her best friend Alyssa and her mother's prize organic hens.
Reflection: A funny, dramatic book that will keep you questioning and entertained. I found the characters were typical of middle school girls who sometimes find it difficult to see eye to eye and a younger brother who is immature, attention seeking and mischievousness.
I would recommend this to . . . those who like humor, drama and zombies; Mikayla, Helen, Caroline, Ben, Pranav, Asad, Aaryan, Rawi.
