Underwater Exploration
We imagined we were underwater explorers who found a sunken ship from the 1400s and 1500s. Each explorer took turns diving into the deep, dark ocean to discover an item of the past. They returned to the underwater labratory to examine, identify and discover the use of the item by referring to their non-fiction text. At this point they had to take on the role of detective and navigate through the book to find information. It takes skill, patience and knowledge to be a good explorer.
